Being the ‘Complete Solution for Asian and American Vehicles’, Blue Print leads the way with their fully IMI accredited Hybrid Technology training courses. If you are looking to offer hybrid servicing and repairs to your customers, or already do and want to improve your knowledge, Blue Print’s up-rated and improved two day course, will arm you with all the knowledge required to work safely around a vehicles hybrid system, whilst carrying out repairs and maintenance.

On successful completion you will gain an IMI approved qualification which meets requirements (QCF) QCA ID NO: 500/7055/1.

The Blue Print ‘Hybrid Vehicle Operation & Maintenance IMIAL Level 2’ course covers:

Day One:
• What is hybrid
• Types of hybrid currently used
• How hybrids optimise energy
• Battery types
• Battery monitoring
• Precautions for high voltage circuits
• Synchronous brushless motor
• Motor control
• The inverter
• Hybrid safety testing
• Series / parallel power split devices
• The regenerative braking system


Day Two:
• Servicing issues for the technician
• Checking 12V charging system
• Emission testing
• Brake bleeding
• Use of aftermarket scan tool
• State of charge monitoring

• Motor generator monitoring
• Brake / ABS / ESP
• Active testing
• Consolidation
• IMI online test
