Effective communication to all levels of the supply chain is one of the most important principles underpinning ADL's approach to business. Customers and suppliers of ADL will recognise a genuine willingness to talk and share ideas and information, in an effort to make processes more efficient, improve working relationships, and maintain the highest levels of quality, availability and customer service.
ADL has always adopted the process of developing business partnerships face to face wherever possible. Our dedicated account management teams offer much more than the traditional "travelling rep" – they not only act as a consistent point of contact for the customer, but also help customers identify and utilise opportunities using Blue Print. ADL also regularly engages with suppliers, customers and garage workshops through conferences, events and industry trade shows.
ADL not only recognises the importance of communicating with its suppliers and direct customers but also with the next level of the supply chain, the garage repairer. As part of a coherent strategy to "build links with workshops" ADL produces high quality publications which are mailed to thousands of workshops in our home markets; invaluable technical and business information is communicated through hundreds of pages on a dedicated website, and product and part number information is made available through access to our industry leading online catalogue, Blue Print LIVE! 24 hours a day.
Customer Communication
ADL produces various Blue Print branded publications to keep customers throughout the supply chain up to date with new products, cataloguing and service news:
- Blue Lite - Magazine for Blue Print distributors and motor factors in the UK and Ireland showing new products and industry information
- Blue Print - Equivalent of Blue Lite for Spain, Italy, Portugal and Poland.
- BLUEi - Magazine for garage owners and technicians giving technical product information and repaierer industry news
- New Product Bulletin - Quarterly publication detailing key new products introduced to the Blue Print range
- Leaflets and Brochures - ADL promotes new products and ranges with many bespoke leaflets and brochures - many of these are branded or tailored to individual customers by our in-house design team
Every ADL customer has a dedicated business development manager for their account, to help them maximise sales by offering support with stock profiling, marketing and staff training to get the most out of their investment in Blue Print.
Product and Technical training
ADL recognises that a customer base that is well informed and enthused about a supplier's products is that supplier's greatest potential weapon in increasing sales and market share. So, we offer extensive training to motor factors about the key features, benefits and selling points of Blue Print to help them get then most from the unique sales opportunities and efficiency gains our brand can offer.

Customer Conferences & Trade Shows
ADL attend many conferences throughout the year. These also include many customer trade shows. These can vary from small in-house events to large scale trade shows in exhibition centres.

ADL uses all means of communication to keep in touch with our branches around the world and our suppliers. This includes the use of Video conferencing.
